Rock that uke! Solid mahogany top teamed with a cutaway design for easier access to the upper frets, and an active EQ that lets you plug into an amplifier.

Mahogany is the cornerstone tonewood of the fretted instrument world and is mainly used in acoustic instruments for backs and sides.

It is the most commonly used hardwood because it's relatively economical, durable, attractive, easy to work with, and resonant.

It's not just the reliability that makes it so widely used though; there are also the tonal properties. It's warm and mellow, providing excellent low frequencies, pronounced lower-mids and unpronounced, yet appealing, high ends.

The result is a balanced tone with crisp and strong fundamentals.

The Baritone size is the largest size of the Ukulele, larger than a Tenor.   The Baritone scale is about a couple of inches longer, the neck is a bit wider, and overall it’s a little heavier than the Tenor.

LARGER HANDS ENJOY THE EXTRA ROOM
The extra length allows for more frets with a wider spacing between them. The baritone size is great for players of any skill or experience level, but it may be more comfortable for those with a bit larger hands and fingers.

FULLER TONE AND LOUDER
Being a bit larger in size, the Baritone has a fuller sound and warmer tone with more bottom end than a Tenor. Tuned DGBE it is a "lower' tuned instrument than the Regular Tenor/Concert/Soprano tuned Ukuleles.  The DGBE is effectively the highest 4 strings from a guitar.

Baritones are great for filling out the sound spectrum in your uke group.

BARITONES ARE TUNED DGBE = GUITARISTS THIS IS YOUR UKE
And a baritone is the perfect instrument for guitarists making the move to the Ukulele World.  Think of a Baritone as a guitar with 2 strings removed, all your chord shapes are so similar and it is in the register and tuning that you are already familiar with.  All your guitar Licks and Scales transfer straight over to baritone Ukulele
