The Flight AUC-33 Jungle Concert Ukulele features a stunning jungle design.   Imagine yourself in a wild jungle.

It is a hot morning, and you can see the sun rays beaming through the canopy of leaves and the calls of exotic birds.   Jungles are beautiful and dangerous at the same time–and the human heart longs to explore them.  We wanted to capture that feeling with this stunning design.  Match the AUC-33 Jungle with the AUC-33 Orchid ukulele to create the perfect rainforest ukulele collection. 

At Flight, we love to use colors and attractive designs, so we decided to explore adding incredible designs to our ukuleles. These ukuleles combine the worlds of fashion and music. We haven’t sacrificed quality for the looks or taken any shortcuts in creating these instruments.  The result is astonishing: gorgeous ukuleles with a warm and strong sound that won’t break the bank.

Laminate ukulele with an amazing soundboard design

At its heart, the AUC-33 Jungle is an excellent ukulele with a laminate spruce top and laminate mahogany back and sides, but it features a design twist: it features amazing artwork on the soundboard.  There have been no shortcuts taken with the design of these instruments–they sound and play as good as they look.

Okoume Neck & Walnut Fingerboard

The neck of the AUC-33 is made from African okoume, and the fingerboard is walnut. This is a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard. The neck feels amazing in your hands, and looks fantastic!

Strap Button

Of course, it is good to learn how to play the ukulele without using a strap, but why not use a strap if you can have it both ways?  Strap makes holding the ukulele easier so you can keep playing for hours. It also allows you to be ‘hands free’ between songs. We at Flight care about the comfort of our Flighters, which is why we started adding strap buttons to all Flight ukes!

Bone Nut & Walnut Bridge

The nut may seem to be a small component, but it plays a critical role in the overall sound of an instrument.  The nut and saddle of this ukulele are made from bone (not from plastic), which results in better tone quality.
