Ohana has dusted off a vintage model that truly checks many of the boxes that other ukuleles miss. A 2014 Model has been reissued due to the demand for a top-of-the-range Uke without a top-of-range price pricetag.
If you've spent hours on the web checking out Solid Koa Ukes and found yourself lusting after an all-solid Koa ukulele with all the trimmings but couldn't quite justify the price increase that comes with buying something made in Hawaii, then the Ohana CK-350G might suit your desires and your bank balance.
The CK350G is a concert ukulele made entirely of solid-figured Hawaiian koa with lavish abalone binding and high-end features. The fingerboard and bridge are made of ovangkol, the premium geared tuners are on the instrument, and while being over-the-top looks in the extreme, it is nevertheless affordable.
All solid koa from the islands of Hawaii are responsibly sourced and used for the limited edition reissue 350G series.
Ohana has chosen an abalone inlay to decorate these special ukes. With excellent sustain and a pleasing balance of tone, these high-gloss instruments are stunners.
