At its heart, the AUC-33 Cupcake is an excellent ukulele with a laminate spruce top and laminate mahogany back and sides, but it features a design twist: it features amazing artwork on the soundboard. There have been no shortcuts taken with the design of these instruments–they sound and play as good as they look.

Of course, it is good to learn how to play the ukulele without using a strap, but why not use a strap if you can have it both ways? The strap makes holding the ukulele easier so you can keep playing for hours. It also allows you to be ‘hands-free’ between songs.
