Worth Premium Ukulele String
SINGLE BROWN Fluorocarbon Low-G
B-LG 63 inch (enough length for TWO restrings)
LONG LIFE AND RELIABILITY BEING NON-WOUND.
NO ANNOYING FINGER SQUEAK NOISE.
EASY ON YOUR FINGERS.
WHY WOUND STRING FAIL.
Wound low G strings from other brands have a Wound G construction. Inevitably the winding will prematurely wear out over the frets and the inner core and the outer wrap will de-laminate.
Wounds Strings are prone to string failure, first your string will have a terrible oscillation sound as the string is no longer evenly balanced along its length, then they will break or just feel so damn horrible you replace them.
RELIABILITY IN THE FLUOROCARBON CONSTRUCTION.
Worth strings have non wound G construction. They have the mass required but have none of the drawbacks of a wound string. You will get long life, and a constant tone over the life of the strings, reliability and non of the annoying "finger squeak noise" that wound strings exhibit.
Worth Strings do things just a little bit differently, the way that Worth package their strings sets is that the Strings are Extra Long, Double length in fact, enough to restring your ukulele TWICE.
DOUBLE LENGTH STRING? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
Worth give you enough string length to restring your ukulele twice.
I normally remove the string, cut it in half, put 1 half on the ukulele and return 1 half of the string to its packet for next time.
