KA-SKTG Tenor Solid Spruce Top Koa Back and Sides Gloss Finish
A cousin of the Hawaiian Koa Gloss line, the Solid Spruce Top Koa Gloss line pairs an Engelmann Spruce top with Hawaiian Koa back and sides sealed in a gloss finish to bring out the grain of the wood.
The Spruce top provides a complex, open sound with a loud projection that pairs with the bright, midrange tone of the Hawaiian Koa back and sides.
The Top Shelf KA-SKTG Tenor uke features side and backwoods of Hawaiian Koa Wood and Solid Spruce Top, a sweet tone-wood combo, wrapped up in a superb Gloss Finish.
The darker tones of Hawaiian Koa not only look great but isfull of a lovely warm midrange sound. Completing the delicate marriage of tonewoods is the lighter colored Solid Spruce Top. Solid Spruce is often found on Acoustic guitars andis renowned for its loud volume and great projection.
The neck is carved from strong mahogany wood and capped with a Pau Ferro fingerboard.
The Neck is fitted with a quality GraphTech NuBone Nut for maximum tone and volume and iscut precisely from this super slippery nu-age material.
At the Bridge is a GraphTech NuBone Saddle, again formaximum tone and volume that can be squeezed from the USA made D'Addario Titanium Strings.
