    I bought some Worth Brown strings on my first ukulele that I made last year. Whilst they took a long time to settle in, the sound is really nice mated with the Tasmanian Blackwood used for the project. The Ukulele in the picture is one I made for a friend Called Mike, this time I used the clear fluorocarbon, and the sound is also bright but with the low G a balanced sound is produced.     The clear Worth fluorocarbon ukulele strings are by far the best I've experienced. They are bright and responsive, and have a much softer feel than standard nylon strings. They last really well, and a major bonus is that you receive enough ion the pack for 2 sets of strings. The Worth brown strings are also a great alternative if you want a warmer tone. They have the same feel and responsiveness as the clear ones, and you also receive enough material for 2 sets. I recommend both types very highly.

    This is the first time I have used the Worth Clear strings. I have used the browns before and was very happy with them. I love the clears they have the sound and tone I have been looking for although at first, until they settled in, the low G sounded a bit 'off'. Now it sounds fine and is in balance with the rest of the strings. I am a convert to Worth Clears.
