Want a FAT Tone - Use FAT Strings!

And there are none FATTER than Worth BF-LG, but Still Easy on your fingertips.

Tenor ukes will have their volume turned up to 11 with these FAT CATS.

LOW G (Linear tuning) for lovers of Modern Rock and Blues.  And if you are into the JAZZ Comping style where you play bass notes individually and strum you will love these BF-LG.

The Ultimate JAZZ TONE string going around.  Big and Fat sounding like a big ol 1940s jazz cat.

Nine Reasons People Choose Superior Worth Ukulele Strings.

1. Easy Playing Feel under your fingers - Softer Material and a Lower Tension = Comfort.
Worth is a softer, easier-feeling string under your fingertips, this is due to their lower tension and being made of Fluorocarbon. Your Fingertips will love you for choosing Worth Ukulele Strings

2. Easier Bending Notes and Vibrato - Smooth Lead playing.
If you like to bend notes, then try Worth strings. Fluorocarbon strings will not 'roll under’ your fingertips like other materials do. You can really 'dig in' and bend a note smoothly with great control of your pitch and vibrato.

3. Choose your own Tone: Brown More Bass Vs Clear More Treble.
Worth ukulele strings come in Brown and Clear versions.
The BROWN string sets exhibit a Bassier warmer, rounder jazzy / rock sound.
The CLEAR strings are Trebly, brighter with an exceptional sweet bell like tone.

Worth fluorocarbon strings exhibit less of the harsh strident tone that characterises Gut/Artificial Gut/Nylon strings. Worth strings offer you a sweet rounder softer tone, with less of a 'sharp attack' to the beginning of notes.

4. High or Low G sets – without finger squeak.
The Worth low G ukulele strings are not wound, so they are less likely to give finger noise and do not have that annoying “Finger Squeak' of wound low G strings.

5. Value for money with effectively 2 sets per pack.
Worth ukulele strings come in double-length sets. Each package contains enough string length to restring your ukulele twice.

6. Rapid ‘Settling In’ with Stable Tuning.
When new strings are fitted they will (regardless of brand) take some time to stretch and settle in. Unlike other strings Worth Ukulele Strings will stretch out and settle in just a few days, and will remain stable, with no further stretching due to unwanted elasticity of string material.

7. Volume Balance.
Worth strings have a more consistent and even volume and tone balance between the strings, especially the Low G sets when compared to nylon strings.

Because the Worth Strings are ALL fluorocarbon even the Low G sets are evenly balanced in Tone between the strings. Unlike Wound low g strings that can differ wildly in tone from the CEA and strings

8. Long Lasting – Especially Low G Sets
Worth Strings are less prone to breakage than strings manufactured from less durable and stable materials. Worth Low G strings are solid Fluorocarbon and unlike wound Low G strings there is NO outer wrap to separate or wear away from an inner core, the separation leads to string failure.

9. Stable Tuning.
You will find Worth Ukulele Strings being fluorocarbon have very stable tuning regardless of Temperature and Humidity changes.

Often copied but never bettered,  Worth Ukulele strings are Still The Original and The Best Fluorocarbon Ukulele strings.

46 Inch length sets suit Soprano / Concert
63 Inch length sets suit Tenor / Baritone / 6 String / 8 String

I did a restring on this lovely Martin Tenor, (KOA b/s/sb !) uke with Worth Brown fat, low G strings and the improvement was remarkable. Warm and rich tone with nice feel and playability. I love Worth Brown strings and they are always available from Ukulele Trading Co when music stores rarely have them

After several years with Aquila Nylgut, I made the switch to BF-LG Worth strings the last 4 years. The tonal quality is beyond my expectations specially with amplification. I play in a 5 piece band and have a fair number of gigs every month and with weekly rehearsals, the strings do get through its pace. I would mention that I play using 0.38mm plck and get more mileage than with Aquila.

Trying these out on my Cordoba 35TCE as the set it came with had a wound Low G that disagreed with me intensely. So far, I'm very happy with what I'm hearing. I was after something a little deeper and richer than the traditional sparkly ukulele tone, and that's certainly what I have. Nice work, Worth! Not to mention truely excellent service from my favourite ukulele store, as aways.

I bought a set of Worth Brown Tenor low 'G' GCEA and a set of high 'g' gCEA strings to restring my two tenor ukuleles - one Low 'G' and one high 'g'. One is a JB Hi Fi Liberty brand and the other is a home made flat pack kit ukulule bought on eBay from China. They were previously strung with a 'hog podge' of nylgut strings, old mono filament and wire wound guitar strings, and even fluoro carbon fishing line - what ever worked. The Worth Browns are really a step up. I love the tone and feel
