TONE: A Low G tuned string set that are Big Sounding for your Tenor ukulele.
Still easy playing on your fingertips.
If you play ROCK Songs or BLUES Songs, try these and get that BIG LOW G TUNED Sound.
LOW G LINEAR TUNING feels more natural to guitarists. Going from standard re-entrant High G tuning to Low G Tuning means you now have 2 BASS Strings instead of 1 bass string (C String). Now you also have a thick Low G string.
EXTENDED RANGE OF NOTES Your open G note is now LOWER than your C by 5 Semitones so you extend the range of notes on your ukulele fretboard.
NO CHANGE to the chord shapes or Scales that you play.
But Playing Low Note riffs now seems to "WORK" better, sounding more authentic to their guitar origins. And Scales just sound right because now the lowest Note on your ukulele is the Open G note on your 4th string. Low G Linear tuning ROCKS. Literally.
Worth Strings are often copied but never bettered,

Worth Strings do things just a little bit differently, the way that Worth package their strings sets is thatthe Strings are Extra Long, Double lengthin fact, enough torestring your ukulele TWICE
DOUBLE LENGTH STRING? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? Worth give you enough string length to restring yourukulele twice. Inormally remove the string, cut it in half, put 1half on theukulele and return 1 half of the string to its packet for next time.
Beautiful Tone Starts with Beautiful Strings Worth Premium Fluorocarbon Ukulele Strings are one of the most popular brands of strings among Professional Ukulele Musicians.
Softer under your fingertips like no other strings.
Manufactured in Japan, Worth Creations make premium quality ukulele strings in 43 inch sets for Soprano/Concert and 63 inch sets for Tenor, Baritone, 6 and 8 string ukulele.
63 Inch length sets suit Tenor
Nine Reasons People Choose Superior Worth Ukulele Strings.
1. Easy Playing Feel under your fingers - Softer Material and a Lower Tension = Comfort. Worth is a softer, easier feeling string under your fingertips, this is due to their lower tension and being made of Fluorocarbon. Your Fingertips will love you for choosing Worth Ukulele Strings
2. Easier Bending Notes and Vibrato - Smooth Lead playing. If you like to bend notes, then try Worth strings. Fluorocarbon strings will not 'roll under’ your fingertips like other materials do. You can really 'dig in' and bend a note smoothly with great control of your pitch and vibrato.
3. Choose your own Tone: Brown More Bass Vs Clear More Treble. Worth ukulele strings come in Brown and Clear versions. The BROWN string sets exhibit a Bassier warmer, rounder jazzy / rock sound. The CLEAR strings are Trebly, brighter with an exceptional sweet bell like tone.
Worth fluorocarbon strings exhibit less of the harsh strident tone that characterises Gut/Artificial Gut/Nylon strings. Worth strings offer you a sweet rounder softer tone, with less of a 'sharp attack' to the beginning of notes. 4. High or Low G sets – without finger squeak. The Worth low G ukulele strings are not wound, so they are less likely to give finger noise and do not have that annoying “Finger Squeak' of wound low G strings.
5. Value for money with effectively 2 sets per pack. Worth ukulele strings come in double-length sets. Each package contains enough string length to restring your ukulele twice.
6. Rapid ‘Settling In’ with Stable Tuning. When new strings are fitted they will (regardless of brand) take some time to stretch and settle in. Unlike other strings Worth Ukulele Strings will stretch out and settle in just a few days, and will remain stable, with no further stretching due to unwanted elasticity of string material.
7. Volume Balance. Worth strings have a more consistent and even volume and tone balance between the strings, especially the Low G sets when compared to nylon strings.
Because the Worth Strings are ALL fluorocarbon even the Low G sets are evenly balanced in Tone between the strings. Unlike Wound low g strings that can differ wildly in tone from the CEA and strings
8. Long-Lasting – Especially Low G Sets Worth Strings are less prone to breakage than strings manufactured from less durable and stable materials. Worth Low G strings are solid Fluorocarbon and unlike wound Low G strings there is NO outer wrap to separate or wear away from an inner core, the separation leads to string failure. 9. Stable Tuning. You will find Worth Ukulele Strings being fluorocarbon have very stable tuning regardless of Temperature and Humidity changes.
Often copied but never bettered, Worth Ukulele strings are Still The Original and The Best Fluorocarbon Ukulele strings.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 98 reviews.
They sound very mellow on my Luis Pilarte tenor uke. They are taking some time to stretch out but they are getting there. Delivery took a few days but that is normal for living in the country.
The Worth Brown Strings Low G' seem to suit my Tanglewood Tenor Ukulele as they provide a less harsh sound than the Fat Clear Worth Strings. The Brown's seem to make the Tenor sound a little more like the Guitar sounds. They also have a softer feel on the fret board and I seem to be able to have the chords ring nice and true. Hope this is helpful.
Cheers,
Rob.
I have been using Worth Browns on 2 of my tenor ukes for a while now. They are the best I have found for feel and for sound and they are good value. Pictured here on my Kala tenor Resonator.
They are difficult to source in NZ so I always get them here.
The Worth Brown low G strings are so much better than the original strings that came with my Ukeleke. I found they were easier to press down especially when playing a B flat chord, but more importantly, the sound was so much better. I will always use these strings from now on.
Purchased a set of Worth strings that include a low G unwound string for my Tenor ukulele as a spare because I play a lot and I am very hard on my strings.
Great strings! And the Ukulele Trading Co Australia is fabulous to deal with.
I recommend both the company and the strings -
BT-LG Worth Brown Tenor Low G
A new set of Worth's on the Baritone! That'll add some zing to the notes.
Another big thanks to C.C. for great customer service and for making Worth strings available for purchase.
When I put the first set of Worth Browns on, my wife didn't think too much of them but now that it was time to put a new set of strings on, she asked to have Worth's!
Thanks again Chris.
Excellent Strings, great tone & texture…
I use Low G Strings on my
Flight A10 FM Faded Blue Ukulele
and High G on my
Flight Sofia Soundwave Ukulele
And Both High & Low G on my
KALA 5 String Ukulele…
AWESOME…!!!👌😎
Currently trying both the clear and brown strings. Despite the brown strings looking a bit cooler I personally think they sound better too. But that could just be me and the sound I was after.
I replaced the tuners on a friend's ukulele and decided to add Worth brown strings to try to improve the tone. The results are fantastic. The strings sound great, to such an extent that it's like a new and improved ukulele.
I broke the A string as I was trying to bring it up to pitch ,I am a bit inexperienced as this was my first time using worth browns .So I restrung it with a set of Bondi clears I had but used the brown low G and I like the sound of it .
I will give the browns another go soon.Obviously I need to be more patient and slowly stretch them in .
I remain a very happy customer and could not fault the service and loving my ukes.😁
Great service and communication from Uke Trading Co on this and other purchases recently. I haven’t put these strings on my other uke yet, but I know they’ll sound killer!
Thanks CC!
I have a solid blackwood Tenor Makai which I absolutely love and already sounds amazing. But after hearing a friend strum her uke with Worth brown strings with a low-G, I just knew I had to make the switch as well. Once my new strings were in place I could hardly believe what I was hearing! The sound was incredible, I didn't think my sweet sounding Makai could get any better, It was a wow for me and has taken it to a whole new level of tone and quality. I am now a low G and worth brown convert and highly recommend. I also highly recommend Chris's services, he is so lovely and helpful to deal with. Ten thumbs up from me 🙌
I have just a week ago replaced the original Aquilla strings on my OHANA TK250GCE with Worth BT-LG Browns & now they have settled in I beleive intonation is better & sound is much warmer. I have used Worth clear in the past on my Anuenue Lani 3 & I have just ordered a set of Fat LG Browns for my Anuenue Koa Bird to replace the Blackwater strings. I find Worth Strings softer on the fingers as well.
Colin.
I used to play guitar, but due to injury to a couple of fingers on my left hand am now unable to move around the strings
I really missed my music so I had a play around with someone's uke a few years ago and found I could manage most of the chords. Didn't play it very much but when I decided to pick it up again I knew the strings sounded very dull.
I did some research and found someone talking about the Wentworth strings. Found your Company on line and as you were an Australia Company I purchased my new strings from you. Thank you for your very prompt service.
Finally got around to replacing the old strings just before Christmas so I could play some Christmas songs.
What a beautiful sound these Wentworth strings have.
I also purchased the Aquila wound bottom G String as was suggested on a video I watched. Such a better sound.
I am playing more now as the sound is not as grating to me anymore. Ha ha ha. I had bought a Tenor Uke so it would have a richer sound, and these strings have made it sound even better.
Thank you for your wonderful service and interest in your customers.
