🌿 A Ukulele That Tells a Story
I absolutely love how this uke isn’t just an instrument—it tells a story. The “Bushfoods” artwork was created by Margaret Bloomfield, an Aboriginal artist from Santa Teresa, a remote community 100 km south-east of Alice Springs.
Her painting shows the bushfoods that grow naturally in the desert, like passionfruit (Arruntene) and bush banana (Alangkwe). To me, these fruits aren’t just beautiful—they represent sustenance, survival, and a deep connection to the land.
